Submission Guidelines

Learn how to participate and present at Theorizing the Web. We welcome submissions from scholars, practitioners, artists, and activists.

Presentation Formats

  • 20-minute individual presentations
  • Panel discussions (75 minutes)
  • Lightning talks (5 minutes)
  • Interactive workshops (2 hours)

Submission Requirements

  • Abstract (300 words maximum)
  • Brief bio (150 words maximum)
  • Technical requirements
  • Preferred presentation format

Selection Criteria

  • Originality of contribution
  • Relevance to conference themes
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Potential for audience engagement
